Have been very busy at work since New Year. Despite recession in UK there seems to be loads of work around. Don't know whether other private client lawyers are experiencing the same. We had our best December ever at the end of 2009.

Reading Craven House by Patrick Hamilton. It's set in a boarding house just before the Great War and is written in his usual dead pan style. Amusing and touching particularly about the way children are treated by adults.

Sea Tree on Mill Road Broadway, Cambridge UK Visit the Sea Tree "alternative" fish and chip shop in Mill Road. The fish is fantastic. I tried the battered scampi with chips - out of this world. Also try side orders of salad and mushy peas. It's open every evening except Mondays. You can eat in too. You get served by polite US students. However, Robert thinks the chips are better at Fagitos at the top of Mill Road. Anyway - give it a try.
